Kevin Olecki
Kevin Olecki, a former Bulldog letterman, enters his fifth season with the coaching staff and third as offensive line coach.

Olecki spent his first two years coaching as the Bulldogs’ tight ends coach. During the 2005 season, Olecki was instrumental in the development of Taylor Cornett at tight end and Nick Fender as long snapper. Promoted in 2006, he will head the offensive line again, of which he was a four-year letterman and starter for The Citadel.

During the 2006 season, Olecki’s offensive line helped The Citadel rank third overall in the Southern Conference in total offense with 354 yards a game. In 2007, his offensive line led the Bulldogs to a national ranking of fourth in scoring. Under Olecki’s tutelage, senior center Chris McDowell was selected as first team All-Conference.

Olecki finished his playing career at the conclusion of the 2003 season and was tabbed second team All-Southern Conference by the coaches and media following his senior season.  During his senior season, he served as a cadet captain in the Corps of Cadets and was named team captain by his teammates.

Olecki, a member of The Citadel Class of 2003, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in business administration in August 2008 from The Citadel Graduate College. Olecki is also member of The Citadel Staff Council.

Olecki is a native of Marietta, Ga. and resides in Charleston.
