Coach Kevin Higgins' Bulldog squad is very active in the surrounding community throughout the year. Team members and coaches serve the needy at local soup kitchens, brighten the day of sick children at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and read to local students, among many other outreach efforts. The Citadel, Coach Higgins and his staff, and the Bulldogs are committed to being outstanding citizens within the Charleston community and to doing everything possible to support a community that does so much to get behind the school and the program on an ongoing basis.
